clarification on chance piedra, chinese bitters and gold coin grass

Hi,
I'm alittle confused about which chinese herbs to take before a cleanse (my first). i'd rather do the chinese herb, gold coin grass, before the cleanse, but.... is this the right one to take? it lookslike chance peidra or chinese bitters should be taken, but they're not supposed to be taken with the gold coin grass.

any clarification would be helpful.
