Bleeding haemorrhoids. Help please.

Dear Andreas,

My mother (80 years old) has daily bleeding since some weeks while using the toilet due to haemorrhoids. The doctors want make a colonoscopy. I don’t like so much the idea since I know it is going to be tough on her, but I don’t know other solution. Do you have any advice to stopped the bleeding.
