There are at least four different types of enemas, plus colemas, described in my book Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation. But I generally do not recommend doing any other enema type but colonics or colemas (colema board) in combination with liver flushes. This is to prevent stones remaining trapped in the colon, leading to toxicity and injury there. Coffee enemas, for example, do not flush out anything (except perhaps some waste in the rektum), they are used to trigger a release of toxins from the liver. Water enemas could be used in succession 2-3 with 1 quart each, tryong to reach the entire part of the ascending colon (which isn't easy). Colemas do.
I guess your mother is a good cook. I don't think I can help you with resisting her sumptious temptations.
A cleansed body is stronger. When nourished with fresh foods, vegetables, salads, grain foods, legumes, nuts seeds, etc., your body will develop increased endurance (eat main meal at midday). Sleeping early improves digestion of foods and helps sustain good nourishment of cell, important for any sport activity.
