This kind of problem usually occurs when the lymph ducts draining the gallbladder and liver cell tissue of metabolic waste products and dead cells. When congested, these substances remain trapped in the tissue and require an inflammatory response to deal with them. The result is scar tissue. The scar tissue consists of cell debris and cholesterol. Destructive bacteria are often called to the side to break down damged or dead cells.
Candida overgrowth is only an effect of poor digestion. Poor digestion results in congestion of the main lymph vesssels in the abdomen, which in turn affects the thoracic duct, responsible for draining most waste in the body. There is more information about this on my website or in my books.
