Wishing things?

Hi

Once when I was a children I decided ( I do not why) I will not wish anything.

I have not wishes most of the time.

And when I really "want" something I pray.

Most of the time I wish nothing, and in general my life has been good.

Usually I always get what I "need" or "want" for example my car, my laptop, three different good scholarships, etc.

I wonder why people wish things in advance..

Could it better to accept what you receive?

I am just wondering about the necesity of wishing things.

I find sometimes "wishing" I will get better, because my health is not good right now, but I am not used to wish.

I am interested on Andreas answer and all the experience people have about "wishing".

Love

Zule
