Re:Energy Zones?

This thread reminds me of a conversation I had with my doctor whose outlook and philosophy is very similar to Andreas'. Doc says there are areas on Earth that are natural energy zones that attract spirits and people. He said the strongest place he had encounted this was in Hawaii, but had experienced strong zones in India, and the Western U.S. He then said this area of the Ozark Mountains was also an unusually strong energy zone. In fact he had no particular plan on moving to this area until riding through it and felt its pull. This area does seem to attract a lot of cults and special interest groups. We have everything from Survivalists to Nazi and Klan enclaves to super Fundamentalist Churches to a growing group of natural and holistic healers. One man I know has a reputation as a Christian prophet, he had a vision that a small town near here with a population of less than 100 people would be the center of a great Christian revival that will sweep the nation.
Do certain areas of the Earth have a special energy that attracts both people and spirits? Can such diverse groups as we have around here be attracted by the same pull, and can they peacefully co-exist, especiallly if some catastrophe strikes? What are some other energy zones and are they a good place to live?
BTW-The joke around here is that all the hurricanes are a warning for Florida not to mess around with the next election, not sure I buy that, but it makes one wonder :)
