He is has at least two entities in him that override his true personality. Once of them is na old warrior type who used to use his sward to kill and command power and control. It is a trapped soul in the astral plane, an aspect of him, that has not moved into the light when he was killed in that life, and continues to fight his battles as if nothing has changed. This is the one that wakes him up at night and have the violent streak. He is angry being stuck, and only knows to control through harshness, anger and violence. The other one is less dominating, with a lot of low self worth, also trapped. I do work with removing entities through sacred santemony, but your son appears to be relctuctant letting them go. The trick with entities is they won't leave unless the host (your son) decides they need to leave. He attracted the angry one very early in his life when something happened to him and he needed comfort, a "strong hand," in his life. So any major insecurity would make him look for the entity again. In school, anyone who bullies him, will bring forth the wrath of the entity in him.

For him to free himself of the entities, he must really want it. Then we can work with clearing the entities. It is very difficult for a mother to see this kind of thing. But he is dealing with his troubled past by reliving some it, giving him the chance to move beyond the illusion of power and control being in a weapon or in anger. Much of it a growth lesson for him, and partly also for you. When he hisses at you, it is not your son. When he cannot look you in the eye, it is not him, but the entity who acts.
