Cracked Heels, Detox Pads, Taboo Herbs...

Andreas, what is the story on cracked heels? Mny of my friends are developing them and would appreciate insight into cause & cure.

Also, what do you think about the Detox pads offered by www.purebody.com and talked about extensively on Dr. Vivograd's forum. Ever used one? Possible Disadvantages?


What's your take on the comfrey and ephedra controversies? Especially Comfrey, since the late Dr. Christopher recommended it a lot both internally and externally and everybody today says it's "toxic to the liver", the hackneyed expression that seems to abound in the natural health world in reference to many of the tradionally beneficial herbs like chaparral, lobelia etc.
