Hi Dove. Its possible she has a thyroid problem. I was looseing my hair to before i found out that i had hep. c. Been having nerve related problems some due to over use syndrom and injuries,, i would blame every thing on that, every time i went to doctor or specialist they would never find cause. My work was very hard and the type where every one was getting carpal tunnel syndrom. Went to doctors in 97 complaining about fatigue, blood test high white blood count, doctors say dont know what it is.
Years past had stomach problems and bowel went to doctors had test, then blood test later hep. c. (2003) Just before that i would have night sweats and bad sleep patterns, notice hair loss which i contributed to herreditary. Had thyroid check showed negitive. I did go on a vit and herbal protolcal my hair got thicker, and nails grew better. But did not last went on a differnt herbal formula with more stable longer results, not 100% my hair is dry ect but it does not fall out like prior 2003. I believe you can have on and off thyroid problems with this disease, some may be worse then others this is an auto - immune type of disease, hep c. can cause many differnt things. You need to have your thyroid check and or find a program that keeps your immunity from overreacting. Im on Dr. Zhangs Herbs right now. Tweet
