Thanks very much for answering my questions.
You're probably right about the beans themselves not causing the attack, because they had very little or no fat at all, even the tortillas had no fat. But what bothers me is I did have an attack four separate times during about a year period after eating beans, so it does make me leery. Also, all I eat is mostly rice, pasta and white chicken or turky in very small amounts.
I wonder if onions, or peppers could cause an attack? Because I usually eat Rosarita Zesty Salsa refried beans.

BTW, I've noticed that I get very tired and sleepy during an attack so I usually tape record notes about what I'm doing and how I feel when I have an attack. It has given me some valuable information that I would have forgotten otherwise.

Over all, you sure cleared up a lot of my questions, and I hope it helps others here...you are a big help
