Certainly, alcohol is a leading cause of liver stones and gallstones. The alkaline bile clots when coming into contact with the acidic breakdown products of alcohol. I just had a case of an alcholic who had abused alcohol for 30 years. His liver and spleen are now very enlarged (packed with stones), and he has lymphoma as result of it. His liver has replaced many cells with scar tissue (cirrhosis). Unable to cleanse the blood, the lymphatic system is overhelmed with toxins and increased production of immune cells. For more details, please refer to my book, The Amazing Liver Cleanse, ener-chi.com).
