wow, this is sad... should have been an easy catch ESPECIALLY for a dermatologist. Sounds to me like molluscum contagiosum. The links enclosed are pretty informative. Couple things you should know is that it is a virus (pox) and very contagious to yourself and others. You may want to cover them with a bandage until it comes to a head then extract it like a pimple. The core should come out in one piece almost like a small pearl or callous and the site may then bleed more than a typical pimple. When you are done clean the area thoroughly with alcohol and your hands also. May want to cover it again until it heals to prevent spreading again. It is possible to get rid of them as long as you dont reinfect yourself. It is spread by direct skin contact. Its not life threatening ... more on the level of wart. Only immunocompromised people have a problem witrh them generally (infestation etc) but anyone can get them. Hope this helps .
