I believe it is the same parasite-- and you wont hear too much about it in the mainstream media. Probably because it is yet another example of agricultural experimentation gone wrong and they dont want to deal with irate infected citizen lawsuits.

In the past, I have been able to read more about it by doing a Google.com search.
