Sugar cravings

No one was a worst Sugar addict that I was - trust me! But at least for me, I've found that if I just ignore the Sugar craving - later on - it's gone. Just get passed it and after a few days, I really don't feel like it - honestly! I guess I dropped my Sugar very slowly. I started with only allowing myself one moderate desert each day and only at the end of the day after dinner. After doing that for a few weeks, I switched to just flavored (sugared) yogurt because at least that has active bacterial culture. So that was my desert for the last several months. Finally, I switched to plain yogurt mixed with Quaker Havest Crunch if I really need sugar. It sounds not so sweet, but when you switch over slowly, it really is sweet. Or you can add a banana to it. Again, just one a day if I need that. I know you're thinking "no! I need chocolate ice cream!" but when you do it slowly and stick it out for a few days, trust me - plain yogurt and quaker crunch with banana is indeed considered a desert by me. Finally, after all these years, I can see what people mean about fruit being desert. Only when I've cut out sugar has everthing really taken off and lost of stuff been solved.
