Re: dosage of Grapefruit seed for parasites
I get mine from Biocare (UK company) but it should be easy to get from a health food store and not expensive like some other products. I keep a permanant supply in the cupboard, both liquid and capsules. I have only ever taken the capsules (just because they are easier to take) but I can only manage I capsule a day or I get die-off.
The drops are brilliant for mixing with water and using for blocked ears (I tried mixing it with olive oil/glycerine and it was too irritating, water was better). I even use it on my dog's ears! It is great stuff for cleaning worktops like incorporated wood chopping boards that you can't move to the sink. Internet search reveals that it has been used in hospitals as it is such a powerful antiseptic/antibacterial/antifungal etc.
It is also great for removing smells when you don't want to use chemicals. I spilt milk in the car and cleaned it with
Grapefruit-Seed-Extract - smell went! Also if my dog rolls in muck it's a great way of removing the smell of that too.
The dose on the capsule container says take three a day. I think I would go easy to start with. I have taken it on and off for a couple of years without becoming resistant (brain fog always goes on it) but I notice this time round that I can't stop smoking. This might sound irrelevant but every time I have taken
Grapefruit-Seed-Extract in the past I have given up smoking without even trying! The craving just disappears. I have recently taken a double dose of
Antibiotics so I expect there is a lot of yeast to contend with. In fact I might try upping the dose!
I should add that it didn't kill Dientamoeba Fragilis, which is what I had, though I expect it reduced numbers
