Re: Worms and Colosan
Sunita, Unless you have a problem with constipation, I don't think worms getting stuck inside you is a common complaint - especially if you drink lots of water, fresh juices, and hot herbal teas to keep things flowing along - and using fiber drinks (always take with lots of fluid).
I've read of horses having this trouble, probably because they're either old (sedentary) or neglected (insufficient exercise) and big enough to "house" large volumes of helminths.
The herb Senna (also a tea) will increase peristalsis in the GI tract if it's sluggish, tho' its use should be limited to 3 months at a time to prevent your body becoming dependent on it. The body has its own way of ridding itself of wastes and dead tissues (consider victims of injuries with lots of wound tissue to slough off). You should also consider using a Zapper (1-800-220-3741) to assist your herbals, and particularly for anything outside the intestines or in other organs.
Generally, we're able to tolerate only a certain amount of anthelmintics per dosage per day, and that limited amount will kill only a limited number of worms/flukes, most of which are soft or pliable, regardless of size. This is why the process can take months or even years. Drink plenty of fluid before BMs to help the elimination process (seems to trigger the body's "let down" mechanism). Try to keep a clean, protected supply of water in your lavatory, if necessary, for easy access (in a jar with a lid). Your body will release only some at a time, even if you have many BMs per day (try to stay near a lavatory or rest-room).
