Re: Distressed over Fragrance Allergies..Please Help!

I have the exact same problem and am currently going through the same thing. How did this work out for you. I was able to do much of my work at home until I recently filed a workers comp claim then they retaliated by telling me I couldn't work at home anymore, even though my injury happened there!!! So when I mentioned the perfume allergy which they were well aware of they just shrugged it off. So I sent them an email for the American With Disabilities Act and told them to look at suggestions on the Job Accomodation Network. They put me on an unpaid leave of absence and won't let me return unless I get specific testing as to which exact chemical I am allergic to and how much I can tolerate. My allergist says these can't be done.
