Liver Transplant transfers peanut allergy

Hi!

I posted this link awhile ago in another forum (Dr. Clark, I think), but it seems more appropriate here.

The short of it: a man died and was an organ donor. Several of his organs were transplated into various people. The guy who got the liver acquired the dead man's peanut allergy. None of the other transplant recipients were affected.

This suggests that the liver is the seat of allergies -- something Dr. Clark and others have been saying for awhile -- so if you have allergies, particularly nut allergies, a series of Liver Flushes just might be the ticket.
