itchy skin / dust mites?

Hello All
I have a female friend who has a condition whereby she has to take very very hot showers to 'get rid of dusmites' which drive her mad at times, because of itching skin. She can feel them biting her etc. She eats a fairly clean diet without preservatives etc., but still has super sensitive skin to dust mites.(lab results show the itching is from dustmites). Has anyone heard of this problem being resolved . Thanks in advance.
