Re: Hi Laura
Hi Researcher, When I had those 2 attacks, I got somewhat dizzy (not much),I didn't feel like throwing up, and I don't get headaches in conjunction with the attack. I have only had 2, 4yrs. apart. Like I said, I did have exhaust problems in both cars, the first time in 1996 the car windows were open though, the second, in 2000, the car windows were closed (it was winter). In fact, in respect to the first episode, I had been out driving for about an hour, came home, parked car, went into my house and turned on the hair dryer to warm myself up. I was holding the hair dryer, and then suddenly lost all strength in my legs and collapsed on the bed, shaking, with a dark ring around my eyes (like a tunnel). My brain felt like it was vibrating, of course it couldn't have been, but it sure felt like it. But, this happened about 20 minutes after I got out of the car and was in the house. The second time, it happened IN the car, as I was driving! I was able to pull over and get through it. But the second time, the "ring" around the eyes, were like bright white Christmas lights. So, who knows. This dr. at the emergency rm. tried telling me it was ischemia. Does any of what happened to me sound like it came from the exhaust? thank you. Laura
