after rereading your post it sounds like head lice or body louse

if it looks like lice.. you MUST get the comb also
/ the nits will NOT come off your hair without it.
btw it is a common thing
/ considering your job / you probably got it from a kid.
they are highly contagious
i had to deal with it once in my life
when a kid i babysat got them/ fortuneately it was contained quickly.
