worm eggs in brain

read an article of a fellow who went swimming in Menkok (sp?) river somewhere in Thailand I think. His travel guide said NOT to swim there but he ignored it and swam in it 3 or 4 times. sure enuf he started suffering sympotms ranging from forgetting simple words like 'telephone' and forgetting his spanish that he learned. docs did testing and found eggs in his brain which caused swelling. he's just lucky he never died. so anyone swimming in foreign countries...beware.
