Was the black fluid strong smelling? Sometimes that comes from the liver too. I don't drink coffee, but in the past when I did coffee enemas before a liver flush, I always had a release of putrid smelling black fluid. I no longer do the coffee enemas the day of the flush because some people felt it might reduce the pressure of the bile pushing out the stones. Coffee retention enemas are good for Liver Cleansing though. I don't know how drinking coffee affects a flush, I've never liked the stuff enough to want todrink it.
