Question for the ladies...

Ok, this is kind of an embarrassing question, but I just found like one of the only places that does colonics in my state and it took awhile to get an appointment, but now I'm due to start my period (it always comes at the most convenient times, huh). I have never had a colonic before so my question is, can you get a colonic done if you are menstruating? I hate to have to reschedule and wait another month or so.
