I know that Mullien helps heal mucus membranes. My son had fissures, we ended up in the ER because the family MD didn't recognize it.
But they didn't suggest anything, just time would heal. He has never been constipated, even as a baby. And he did heal, never had an issue sense.

Though he eats well and avoids the foods he had allergies too. I can't help but wonder if that helped him.

I wonder if probiotics would help.
