Normal? Mucus expulsion after colonic/enema

Just a quick question:

I've noticed that, about an hour after every colonic or enema that I experience, I expell a small volume of thick whitish/clear mucus-like material, about 1.5 teaspoon worth, all at once.

I presume this is a sloughing of the mucus lining of the colon in response to the colonic or enema, but what I'm wondering is...is it normal?

I'm a bit worried that I might actually be stripping away a good thing...or am I stripping away a bad thing?

Just curious if anyone knows, or if y'all are experiencing something similar.

Thanks.
