You don't have to fast, but you should look into eating regular meals.
You can create a eating style that suits you. I was doing the ayurvedic bodytype style of eating. But my body is really missing meat. Now I am reading the south beach diet, at advise of my MD.
So I want to create something in between.
At least by doing the different things it gives you some idea how to choose better foods. And having the right eating schedule, better digestion. I also add some healthy oils or unsalted butter to every meal for better digestion.
