Types of elimination during cleansing - Greenish things?!
Hi all, I started my first
Colon Cleanse about a week ago by taking 3X 10g psyllium per days, and changing my diet substantially to include many raw foods and wheatgrass juice.
I've been eliminating some 2-3X per day and often the boo-boo is a greenish hue, not dark, but a light greenish color. There is typically some very rough looking/unsmooth shaped pieces that I associate with having eating a lot of fiber - big puffy fresh looking stuff, but also there are these pieces that are shaped like the inside of the colon, smooth rounded balls that are strung together by a thin strand between them, often joined to the big puffy fibrous looking pieces. The fiberous pieces are often brown while the intestine shaped stuff is the greenish hue.
Is this typical? Would this be some of the older matter? Might it be the wheatgras juice making things greenish? The smell of these eliminations is quite heinous, with a quality of rotten eggs similar to flatulence somewhat...
I've heard of rubbery black mucoid plaque being expelled, is this something I should expect?
Does adding
Bentonite to the psyllium make it more effective, or can a full cleanse be achieved with psyllium alone?
Thanks for the help!
