Addiction

I'm ashamed to post this but need your help and prayers.I have been on codene and xanax for 4 years.It started when I hurt my back and the back is better now but new pain from diverticular desiese and other things I'm having test for.I get MRI on Monday and Colonostopy on Friday.They want to remove part of my colon.PRAY there will be no colon surgery but after a week in hospital in June then paramedics had to take me in Januarary it doesn't look likly I'll get out of it.The pain is very real but after 4 yrs on these very addictive meds I take them even when not in pain.It has my husband and I very concerened.I want to cry posting this because it's very shamefull to tell someone.But I know ya'll won't condemn me.Please pray I'll get this under control.Love you guys,Dot.
