The naked truth!

" Every single country who opposed us in the security council--China, Russia, France, Germany--opposed this action due to purely economic reasons. Never mind that the man is an inhuman monster who tortures and abuses his people; it'd be bad for their nations' bank accounts if Saddam goes out of power!

And people have the nerve to accuse the United States of letting their pocketbook influence their judgment. Unbelievable. Predictable, but unbelievable.

Virtually no coalition casualities, thousands of Iraqi troops surrendering, a civilian uprising in Basra, steady and swift movement across the interior of Iraq, capture of two major airfields and the extension of our supply lines...

And the war isn't going "as well as it should."

Huh?

I am completely dumbfounded by these people. We were delayed for two or three days by sandstorms, and yet we've still already captured 35-40 percent of Iraq in a single week. And yet the liberal media is still trying as hard as it can to portray the war as a failure.

What, exactly, would constitute a success to these people? Zero coalition casualities, zero Iraqi civilian casualties, one hundred percent elimination of the enemy forces? How unrealistic can their demands get? Especially considering that our forces are trying as hard as they can to avoid collateral damage, prevent civilian casualties, accept surrenders... and then we have Iraqi troops dressing like civilians and faking surrenders to get clear shots at our troops."
