Re: Perhaps...

Tell that to the thousands of his own people who are without their family members because of Saddam's genocidal tactics to prevent dissidents from voicing their opinions and seeking freedom. If they're so darned innocent, then what were the people who he killed guilty of?
War is ugly. But despotism is even uglier. Think of this: You stand up publically & criticize our president. He decides to make an example of you & turns you over to his son who, without batting an eye & to the obvious glee of "dear old dad" ties you up, hangs you over an enormous meat grinder and slowly lowers you into it while dad smiles in loving approval of your work.
That's a fine example of innocence (sarcasm intended). That's a fine example of a murderous, torturous regime. This is the regime of Saddam Hussein.
As far as me & GWB going is concerned, I would be proud to put my uniform back on & go to work. The president is doing his job from right where he needs to be doing it. I agree that the sooner this is over, the better. And if I am to be recalled from military retirement to help things along, I'll proudly, boldly take as many prisoners as will give themselves up (and they are doing this by the thousands), direct as many airstrikes as I can, and shoot as many Republican Guard troops as I can.
Don't challenge people you don't know.
