I'm a dues paying Libertarian

I am a big fan of the libertarian party, and a dues paying member. Not that I agree with them on everything, but their theories are correct. I strongly urge you to go to their webpage and take the 10 question test to see if you are.
One problem they have, is they are against welfare, and that includes Corporate welfare. If you are against corporate welfare, then you can't get bribe money for your campaign. very vicious circle.
If you want some simple reading, read the book "drug war addiction" It is written by a Libertarian Sheriff in Colorado. He played the drug war (and recieved many awards)game for many years. Because he is a Libertarian and had taken the oath of honesty, he just couldn't do it anymore, so he came clean on what a joke the drug war is. I have seen him speak, he knows lots of other sheriffs and politicians that will admit it under the table, but they are afraid they would never get elected if they were honest. He himself gets 80% of the vote when he runs, but that's because his town is almost crime free since he quit chasing pot heads and went after real criminals.
