Re: liver flushing and hep c

Hi Deborah -- I understand that one or more of the ingredients of Chinese Bitters is said to "revitalize" the pancreas. I have found that herbs that are said to revitalize/strengthen/etc. the pancreas actually lower blood Sugar (strengthen = increase insulin production/potency). This could have easily caused your fear and panic attacks if you are a (borderline) reactive hypoglycemic.

I would suggest that you check your adrenal cortisol and DHEA-S levels. If they are low and you supplement you will probably feel better than you do now. The adrenals support blood sugar, reduce inflammation, marshal the immune system, etc., all good things for you right now.

Test adrenals with a home kit -- four saliva tests in 24 hours -- ignore any doctor's results with one cotton swab saliva test in 24 hours, these are a waste of time and money since there is such a fluctuation in adrenal hormones throughout the day. Great Smokies Laboratories and Biohealth Diagnostics both offer essentially the same home test kit, but Great Smokies doesn't require a doctor's prescription.

You are so right to avoid ANYTHING with ANY alcohol in it.

There is at least one prescription medicine that dissolves Gallstones in one to two years. I don't know anything about its side effects, and I've forgotten its name. Someone posted it a week or so ago.

You might find that Thisiyln will help rebuild your liver. It's an especially effective preparation of milk thistle.

Good luck!
