Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate is typical store-bought Epsom salt. The h-word just means that water was used to form a crystal with the magnesium sulfate -- seven water molecules per magnesium sulfate molecule. You won't ordinarily find anything called "Epsom salt" without the "h-word". If you do find pure magnesium sulfate, it will look a lot different than the salty-looking crystals you're used to seeing for Epsom Salt (I'm guessing a powder, but perhaps a wandering chemist could add to this).
