unless you hear from him and he says he wants to get back together, you should be moving on. if he happens to come along after you've found someone else, then it may just be too bad for him. with my ex i thought i couldn't find someone better for me... and now if i were to compare my current and my ex i'd have to say that my ex will never have a chance at getting me back.

as you know, there are more fish in the sea, you just have to allow yourself to look. good luck to you!


ps... it is normal to still be thinking about your ex, even a year later.... but i still think that it would do you some good to try to date or hang out with other guys just to see what else is out there.
