Questions about topical use of HP

I have been using 3% HP from the store on a skin outbreak that I believe is caused by a yeast infection. When the HP is applied I get a very deep vicious itching sensation, and it goes away when the HP dries on the skin. I am assuming this is die off. Any one know for sure?

It has taken over one month of swabbing the skin three times a day to see real improvement of the skin rash. Now, the rash is streaked with healed areas, and areas that are still irritated. Why did it take so long to start getting better?

I have very white skin, which has a ruddy complexion. When I swab my skin with HP, either my belly, arms or face, my skin turns to it's natural white color, and the ruddiness goes away for about 5 minutes. I assume I am oxygenating my blood stream. I also get the itch that I assume to be dye off, but this happens even on skin that is not irritated. Can anyone tell me why my skin ruddiness disappears and what the itch is? I know I am not "bleaching" my skin.

Thanks for your help.
