Clostridium difficile

Hi,
I originally posted on the wrong site and NOW hopefully am in the right one. Today is my
first time here. I haven't seen anything on Clostridium difficile and have some deep concerns on it as
far as with the cleansing and Dr. Schulze 's Intestinal Formula #2.
Clostridium difficile is a bacterium commonly found in the intestinal tract but which, under the right
circumstances such as after or during Antibiotics therapy, can be the cause of inflammation of the
colon and diarrhea.
As C. difficile colonizes the colon, they release two toxins, toxin A and toxin B, which ultimately
cause the inflammation and diarrhea. This condition can be extremely difficult to treat not to
mention that traditionally it is treated with, YOU GOT IT.........A-N-T-I-B-I-O-T-I-C-S!!!!!
It is not uncommon for this awful affliction to rear its ugly head again which makes it such a
frustrating illness. In addition, a serious condition of the colon, Pseudomebranous colitis, may
result from the C. Difficile infection when the colon wall inflammation becomes so pronounced
and eroded by the toxin, that it begins to hemorrhage. At this posting I am not certain as to which I have
though I do know that it is not being helped with the Antibiotics . I am in DESPERATE need of someone
to talk with on this as I am more concerned of having the latter, being the Pseudomebranous colitis.
I want to know #1. Has anyone out there either had or heard of this? #2. I want to do Dr. Shulze's #2
Intestinal Cleanse but am unsure as to the "safety" of it at this point if it should be the more serious type
of C. Difficile. I AM SO SICK....LITERALLY of anti-biotics and the medical profession unwilling to open
their eyes to the benefits of natural healing. Please, will somebody respond to this post as I am not only
at my wits end, but am truly DESPERATE for relief. To date I have lost 17 pounds and counting since
Aug 30. Scared is putting it mildly.........
