How to avoid fatty liver

I got my gallbladder taken out, and I heard most people that get theirs out get fatty liver. If I excercie, cleanse, and eat right, will I avoid the fatty liver?

This question maybe stupid, because it's obvious that if I do all these things I should, but at the same time, why do most people who get their gallbladders out, get fatty liver?
