Cholesteroal tests results are in....great results
Great blood test results and my doctor now says that depending on when the test is taken the numbers can bounce around.....that's a pretty funny answer don't you think...?
After 3
Liver Flushes over the last 2 months I had my blood tested per my doctors orders.
I don't know a whole lot about thest numbers but I originally had my blood tested 3 months ago and I was told for the first time in my life that my cholesterol was high and my platelet count was low.....I am 40 male....6 ft 215 lbs.
Triglycerides were 195...dropped to 141.....
Cholesterol went from 243...dropped to 207
LDL was high at 156...dropped to 136
And my platelets went from 115 which is below the 145-400 acceptable range...they jumped to 228
The person giving me the results told me that I had done well and asked how I got the numbers down...she asked if I did it through my diet....I said no...she asked if I was on medication...I said no....I told her I was doing something else and she asked if I was on the Adkins diet...I told her no.
I got the doctor on the phone and she again assured me that I had not passed any
Gallstones or cholesterol plugs, or stones or anything else....I asked her why my test results all changed so much for the good and she said that depending on when the tests are taken..the numbers can vary by 20 points or so....I pointed our that my Triglycerides had dropped by 54 points and she again had no answer for me.
She did however give me the number for a lab if I want to send my specimens in to be tested at my own cost.
The doctor then pointed out to me that if all it took to lower cholesterol was to get rid of gallstones...then we would all just have our gallbladders removed.....I then pointed out that
Gallstones may actually form in the liver....
Oh well.....
