in my journey on the internet for looking for gallbladder wall info and my dog's cushing disease i found the following: from a hospital in japan dated 4/22/1999. "a 19-year-old woman was diagnosed with infectious mononucleosis (IM). ultrasonography showed marked thickening of the gallbladder wall, as much as 13 mm, during the accute stage of the disease. gallbladder wall thicknes returned to normal as LIVER FUNCTION IMPROVED. MARKED GALLBLADDER WALL THICKENING IS RARELY REPORTED IN CASES OF IM". hope it also applies when Gallstones are involved. hanna Tweet
