Firstly, I am SO GLAD and I thank God that your parrot found her way home safely! PLEASE join us on the BCPlus list and post there about this: http://www.birdsense.com (click on the "BCPLus" link at the top of the page, join the list, then post a message to the list about your parrot).
Meanwhile, DO NOT give your parrot Clarkia . You must be VERY careful with so many things when it comes to birds and you can really do serious harm or even cause death if you don't know for *absolutely certain* what you are doing. I would truly be saddened beyond words to hear that you got your beloved bird back after she flew away only to harm her or lose her (as in death) through trying to treat her without enough knowledge. I know your intentions are good, but please, please do not give your bird Clarkia or anything else you are not *absolutely certain*
of (and watch who you get your information from, especially on the internet as you will run across people who truly do know, and others who SEEM to be very knowledgable but who do NOT know anywhere close to as much as it may seem). Personally, I have come to trust Mike Burton on the BCPlus list. Please join us there and post about your parrot. I will be hoping to see you and watching for you! What is your bird's name?
