beetlejuice - alchemy
Ha! Good one...it seems like a crazy new language, doesn't it? A couple months ago I read quite a few of your posts supporting people on the relationship forum - I can see that you are probably heading in the direction of knowing more about this foreign language! And you're so young - that's great you have a mind that is interested and probing...
The language he is using comes from a variety of places.
Carl Jung - just to feel comfortable with the person, you might want to pick up, "Dreams, Memories & Reflections' biography/autobiography collaboration with Marie Louise von Franz (one of his amazing students).
Alchemy - the ancient practice of alchemy is all about transforming the 'base metal' of the unwhole Self into 'gold' - being Whole. Alchemy is all about transforming. Of course there were alchemists who were interested in the pure material part of it, but the best ones were interested in the Inner alchemy...believing that by manipulating plants, metals, liquids etc in the physical world, their inner world would reflect the transformation of the outer world. As Above so Below...That's the 'manifesting' part.
Here is an interesting site all about alchemy:
AMAZING!!! Very learned and scholarly:

Specifically within that site: Inner Alchemy:

Good book that takes you through an alchemical 'emblem' series and shows you what they mean, psychologically...and how they show what happens during a transformation: "Jung and the Alchemical Imagination" by Jeffrey Raff (excellent! Makes it clear)
Also...about 'manifesting' and creating your own reality with your thoughts (we do!) see some of the quotes here:

Fascinating stuff!!
