Aloe Vera is one of the few common sources of a monosaccharide, those miracle glyconutrients. Aloe is great externally or internally, with Aloe and Kelp being a great overall fixer. Aloe Vera and Hawthorne Berry will, over a period of three weeks, lower cholesterol for a long time. Aloe can be used topically to heal radiation burns, so is a must for sun exposure. My Native American friend's grandma sent her a pint of fresh-squeezed Aloe to drink every week. It's odd tasting but the best stuff there is for healing. If harvesting your own plants, use as quickly as possible after cutting as enzymes will start breaking it down when cut.
