Re: what to tell people

It seems like I am not the only one in this dilemma. My family is Italian, so it is either fatal or a sin to not eat. Of course, I could probobly survive for weeks without taking ANY calories in (not that I'm trying to do that). It seems like lying creates a lot of problems because you're always trying to stay one step ahead of the person you're lying to. The previous example about the boss offering lunch is "Oh, you're not feeling well today? What about tomorrow?" CRAP!!! As far as the restaurants, I thougth of saying that I didn't have any money. Of course, I could just see someone being nice and offering to treat me. Plus, most of us probably don't want to lie to our friends.
On the other hand, we don't want to explain in detail what we are doing because 99% of the people will not understand. Many will be concerned and try to talk us out of it. This is not a good thing when what we are trying to do is hard enough. So I guess what I'm saying is I don't know how to handle this situation, and it is the hardest part of the cleanse so far.
