The post by Karlin regarding economic dictatorship was ludicrous. Karlin thinks that major auto producers should produce an environmentally correct car because he thinks there is a demand for one. This isn't philosophy; its pure ignorance. The auto industry is not obligated to make anything their owners don't want to make, and his usage of the term dictatorship implies that the Auto industry uses force to prevent other capitalists from introducing such a product. Of course, other entrepreneurs are free to do exactly that, so there is no dictatorship. The only dictatorship we should fear is that of Kaplan, if he were ever lucky enough to gain political power.
