Dot and rudenski

I think there's one thing that I can easily deiscern from the two of you even if I've never met you, and that is that you are both very aware of the foibles of the flesh, and that you are both trying to show love the best way you know. Rudenski, that Dot jumped when she read some of the things you've written does not mean she's judging YOU. One can have a strong disagreemet with someone and pronounce their position as flawed, and that still would not be judgement. Judgement of a person would be saying something like, i.e: "Rudenski you are a thief" In which case she would be judging your character, not disagreeing with your position.
From her position, even if you tell her "I saw", she can come back and say "I can't take what you saw as proof of anything because I've been taught that 1) Satan disguises himself as an angel of light and 2) even if another comes preaching a different gospel..... . The teachings tell us that it is possible for angels and beings of light to come to us with erred messages, or others claiming to be Jesus doing signs and wonders or prophesying. It would then be entirely possible for someone to have a personal supernatural experience which could be totally misleading because they themselves have been deceived.
By this that I am telling you I am in no way discounting what you experienced, but I'm trying to re-focus on Dot's response to you, and why I believe she wasn't just judging you.
Now some are going to say that Dot is a Christian bigot for having mentioned homosexuals. But please remember that the Word also mentions idolaters, thieves, fornicators, adulterers etc. in the same passage. It says many of you were these things, and indeed many of us were many such things. And whatever it is we were doesn't matter as long as we have come to God and allowed Him to wash us clean with the shedding of His blood. That's the central message!
