where to start

Hello. I happened to stumble across this site exactly when I needed to. I must say it is all so foreign to me, yet quite intriguing. I plan on commencing my first flush on monday, and just have a couple of important questions.
For the past couple of years, I have had intermitent right sided abdomen and back pain. After much frustration and many medical tests later, I am still left with no answers. One initial test showed a small kidney stone, however, not sure if I passed it. would it be safe for me to commence flush now?
