Re: Junkfood is it ok?
I'm assuming junk foods is what most Americans may call food? Pizza, pop, chocolate, candies, etc? If so, I personally don't think there is a place for junk food. I wish I could be original in saying the following but heard it somewhere, but worth sharing:
"you (meaning people) either pay now or pay later!" Meaning, that if people continue eating a junk food diet, then they enjoy and enjoy, but in most cases, it catches up with them, so they pay for poor health which leads to diseases. So I'm suggesting, get into the preventive mode of acting and thinking, and then later pay for the great rewards of a healthy body till your time is up. As you age and the older get sicker, then you won't have to get their health problems as you worked on prevention. Hope this makes sense and you are taking it in a loving kind message which it is intended to be.
It's all about choices and I hope as you make your choices you make them based on what you know and not what you want to flood your body. I know this is radical message, and my own kids grew up as tots eating this way, but along the way they rebelled and so far they are in good health. I wonder how long they can remain that way? It's a challenge of course, but worth the health journey for wellness! It's your journey, but aim for the best years and if you slip, get up and start again once you established the right tools.
