Re: How to get well after Kidney Transplant

I am so sorry to hear about your problems. Although this is by no means comprehensive, I think drinking fresh (not dried) wheat grass may be of help. It is supposed to be excellent for restoring energy and books I've read show it to be of help in many, many types of health problems of a near miraculous nature. You would need a wheat grass juicer-either manual or electric, but I have read if you put very small amounts in a blender and drink the liquid, it might help until you can get a juicer, but it may tear up your blender, so I suggest a thrift-store model for this might be in order. My manual juicer from Wild Oats Natural Market was around $75.00 a year and a half ago. It is easy to grow; get a book on it like Ann Wigmore's. I have found using food grade hydrogen peroxide diluted to 3% kills mold if it starts. Use kelp powder to water the soil occassionally to enrich soil. Start out slow about a ounce and gradually increase.
Although it may cause nausea, I have read of people increasing up to eight ounces a day in divided doses. The nausea comes from the toxins releases. 15 lbs of wheat grass is equal to about 200 lbs. of vegetables or something like that. I don't think you are supposed to mix with carrot juice, but I may be wrong on that. Other suggestions I have are Renee Caisse's "Essiac Tea." See internet sites on how to make it. This, too, treats a wide variety of conditions with excellent success. You might also try drinking raw (must be raw only) apple cider vinegar (two fingers width) and a spoon or two of raw honey (if desired) in filtered water three times a day. (see Bragg's book "Apple Cider Vinegar"). This is supposed to increase energy and health, especially with a lifestyle recommended in this book or one similar to the kind Dr. Richard Schulze recommends. I hope these suggestions are of help to you. Perhaps eating foods and drinking fresh juices of foods recommended for healthy kidneys might help. I know beet (don't take without combining it with other veggies like carrot) is really good for lack of energy. If you implement all these changes, I feel that may help. Gingseng is an energy herb also.
I hope these are of help and you are feeling better soon.
