At that link, you'll find (scroll down) a chronology of US interaction with Iraq from 1979 forward, with links to documents including major news sources, let alone the hard-to-find stuff like affidavits and declassified CIA information. Just start reading through it. Pick some Washington Post links, or New York Times links, and check it out yourself.
I'd offer you more stuff, but I don't want to overwhelm you just yet. Please, check out the link, and see if the information there doesn't at least make you go, "Hmmmmmmmmm."
